1. Residential Proxy: Dynamic residential IPs provide real, rotating user IP addresses for use when scraping, viewing, and accessing complex target websites as a legitimate user.

2. ISP Proxy: Static residential IPs, static native IPs, provide real residential IP addresses directly assigned by your ISP. These IP addresses are best suited for applications requiring permanent, non-rotating IP addresses or a small number of residential IP addresses.

3. Rotating ISP Proxy: Combines the power of data center and residential IPs, supporting sessions up to 12 hours long, with dedicated IP resources and unlimited connections and threads.

4. Unlimited Proxy: High-speed, stable, unlimited proxy. Paired with a Lunaproxy unlimited traffic package, enjoy unlimited traffic, randomly assigned countries and regions, and account encryption mode with country/region selection. Use a highly anonymous proxy to send requests and collect data.

5. Data Center Proxy: High-speed, stable data center proxy, providing unlimited bandwidth and charging only per IP. Data center proxies are private or dedicated IPs, meaning that when you use an IP, that IP is only for your use.

Residential Proxy:

Suitable for business scenarios such as data collection, privacy protection, and cross-regional access.

Package Features: Unlimited concurrent sessions; Traffic usage records + real-time data statistics; Supports HTTP/HTTPS/Socks5 protocols.

The main difference between static and dynamic IPs: Stability Duration

Static IPs are long-term, stable IPs, with a stability duration of up to one year. Therefore, they are suitable for scenarios requiring the long-term use of the same IP, such as managing social media accounts or online stores.

Dynamic IPs are constantly changing. Most dynamic IPs have a short stability period, typically expiring within minutes to tens of minutes, requiring a new IP to be used. Therefore, they are suitable for scenarios requiring a large number of IPs and where IP duration is not critical, such as data scraping or flash sales.

✅ Real Residential IPs, Global Coverage
Real home broadband IPs from 190+ countries/regions, high purity, effectively avoiding platform risk control and CAPTCHA blocking.

✅ Flexible Package Options
Residential Proxy: Automatic IP rotation, suitable for high-frequency operations such as web scraping, data crawling, and batch registration.

ISP Proxy: Long-term stability, suitable for long-session scenarios such as e-commerce operations and social media multi-account management.

Unlimited Proxy: Unlimited traffic, including popular countries like the US, UK, and Canada.

The speed of the proxy IP is usually affected by the following factors:

User network environment: The stability of the user's local network environment has a direct impact on the speed of the proxy IP. Therefore, you can improve the proxy speed by improving your local server performance.

Geographic distance: The farther the proxy server is from the user's local server, the slower the speed. The closer the proxy server is to the user's local server, the higher the data transmission efficiency. Therefore, you can improve the network speed by choosing a closer proxy server.

Proxy settings: The configuration of the proxy server will also affect the network speed. For example, settings such as cache size and concurrency may affect the network speed. Reasonable configuration of these settings can improve the network speed to a certain extent.

Target website status: If the target website server is overloaded or the network is congested, the network speed may drop even if the proxy server performs well.

What is a proxy server? How does it work?

Simply put, a proxy server is an intermediary server between two devices on a network. It acts like a bridge, connecting you to the vast internet.

Let's look at what a proxy server actually is and why people choose it.

✅First, a proxy server acts as a gateway or intermediary between any device and the rest of the internet. A proxy server receives connection requests, forwards them to other servers, and then returns the requested data. Of course, this is just a basic concept, as there are dozens of types of proxy servers, each with its own unique configuration. However, this definition is sufficient for getting started.

✅Imagine your device is a house at a specific address (or IP address) on a certain street. You certainly don't want strangers randomly entering your "territory," right? This is where a proxy server comes in handy. You can think of it as a mail carrier, a reliable mail carrier that hides your real IP address.

✅When using a proxy, the information you send and receive does not originate from your real IP address, but is transmitted through the proxy server.

✅The proxy forwards your connection requests to the website without revealing your data, but it still collects necessary information. This protects your personal information from being accessed by others. How does the proxy view your device? The websites you visit see the proxy server's IP address, not yours.

LunaProxy supports two authentication methods: whitelist authentication and username/password authentication.

Packages supporting whitelist authentication: Residential Proxy, Unlimited Residential Proxy, Rotating ISP Proxy

Packages supporting username/password authentication: All LunaProxy packages support username/password authentication.

What is whitelist authentication?

Whitelist authentication is an authentication method that verifies user identity through an IP whitelist. Users add their local device's IP address to the whitelist. When used, the server matches the IP whitelist against the user's device's IP address to identify the user. In LunaProxy, API connections require whitelist authentication.

For example, Device A: If you add Device A's IP address to your Luna account's whitelist, you can use the device via API connections on Device A without entering a username and password. If you do not add Device A's IP address to the whitelist, you cannot use that IP address in API connections on Device A.

What is username/password authentication?

Username/password authentication is an authentication method that verifies user identity through a username and password. Unlike whitelist authentication, account password authentication does not require adding the device's IP address to a whitelist. To use it, simply enter the host (IP address), port, username, and password to access the server through the proxy.
