IPTV cracking

Hi All,
im a noob at cracking, after few weeks of testing and trying and learning how to make a minimal config (couldn't figure how to bypass cdn yet) i have a question:

when i look at daily iptv lists, i see that some of the accounts are with "hard to guess" username:password like 'H5F6kjdf:kjt5686' or something, which clearly didn't came from a pre-made combo list, so how do they got cracked?

im guessing the cracker cracked an IPTV reseller panel and managed to get a hold of the already created users DB...am i right?

as far as i know for each provider there are very few resellers, im guessing around 10-20 for the biggest so to find 1 of those 10 or 20 in a combo list should be very hard.

where am i wrong? how are they doing it?

I think it's easier to get a mac address using brute force (openbullet, etc)... And if you have that you can get userpass without too much difficulty.  There are some generators that will give the userpass if you input the mac and the site url. And you can use stbemu and a man in the middle attack to get the traffic (capture the packets). The user:password will be in the traffic
